Environment PLUS

Environmentally responsible WORXTM All-Natural Hand Cleaner is made from all natural ingredients and is rapidly biodegradable. It is safe to use and also safe to dispose of, as it is fully compatible with bioremediation-based wastewater treatment.

  • Neutral chemistry eliminates the need to manipulate wastewater pH levels prior to discharge.
  • The absence of hazardous ingredients or other substances harmful to the environment eliminates site contamination issues due to accidental spills.
  • Nature based products do not emit gases that harm the ozone layer and contribute to the production of greenhouse gases.

Protecting the ecosystem has become a major concern for large and small businesses. Harmful substances contaminate the immediate system, but also affect downstream water systems or land disposal sites. Most harmful contaminants do not break down and must be dealt with by future generations. Emissions from chemical or toxic materials contribute to the harmful effects of greenhouse gases causing air pollution. WORXTM products reduce or completely eliminate these issues.

  • Waste Disposal Costs
  • Cleanup Time
  • Rinse Water Requirements
  • Associated Energy costs

In recent years, cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) blooms have started to choke our natural rivers and lakes. This algae appears naturally in the ecosystem, but due to high volumes of phosphate-rich discharge into water, the bacteria has grown with unnatural speed. WORXTM products contain no phosphates to increase the appearance of this algae, which chokes off the nutrients required for other plant and animal life present in the water.

DID YOU KNOW...?

According to the 2005 Statistics Canada Industrial Water Use survey, 35.1% of water used in manufacturing and 60.9% of the water used in mining was released back into the ecosystem without any treatment whatsoever. All of the chemicals and pollutants in the discharged water was released right back into our rivers, lakes, and streams. Switching to WORXTM products is a simple way to reduce the amount of contaminating substances that are present in the untreated water to be discharged into the environment.
